I’ve always wondered why a chameleon existed in that type of environment. It was kind of unnecessary.. They could have chose a more fitting animal.

I think he’s adorable and all, but I feel, especially with Maximus in the picture, he was very unneeded.

Aw I like Pascal. I don’t feel he was needed in the story, but he didn’t hurt it either. (Plus, I mean seriously, she lives alone with her mom who is verbally abusive sometimes; a pet seems like a good companion to keep someone company.) I also like the fact that he was a chameleon, it’s whimsical and fun. Plus, since Rapunzel is an artist she uses many different colors when she paints and us artist see the world in all different colors it just feels like a better fit than a cat, dog, bird, etc.
